Now if i can only figure out how to use this thing. Hmmmmm.
How about a picture?
Ah. Speaking of change.
So these are dogs. Clearly. But these are dogs to which i am growing quite attached. On the left is Ernie Flea, and on the right is Marley. Aren't they cute? They belong to my girlfriend and are really a couple of the best behaved and most lovable creatures i have ever met.
And this is a BIG change for me.
You've got to understand, I have never really been much of a dog person. I grew up having a cat, but never a dog. I understand cats, i speak their language and they make sense to me. They are clean, quiet, independent... dogs, on the other hand, have always seemed a little too messy, a little too noisy, a little too needy. Cats are like the perfect roommate; dogs are like living with perpetual 4 year olds.
However now, with some coaching from both my girlfriend and the Dog Whisperer... dogs are seeming less like 4 year olds and more like "best friends" they have always been marketed as. Now i find that when i return to my little house in Athens, the bed which used to feel nice and big, feels too big... i miss their warm doggy bodies at my feet and my side when i sleep. Never in a million years did i dream that i could become a dog person.
So... change is good. Unexpected. But good.
More later when i have learned a little more about formatting.
